✅ Meissa Scan is a 360 camera-based service that allows you to manage indoor spaces on Meissa, in addition to the 2D maps and 3D models provided by the existing drone footage-based Platform service.
Why is Meissa Scan needed?
- It easily converts the front/back file (.insv extension / 2 results) format, which is difficult to use, into a format that is easy for anyone to use (.mp4 extension / 1 result).
- Data can be easily acquired in video form, which is difficult for photographers to collect.
- You can manage the shooting and upload to Meissa Platform wirelessly.

- Connect the 360 camera and mobile phone via Wi-Fi.

- If the device is connected to the device normally via Wi-Fi, you will go to [Shooting mode].
- You can start/stop shooting by clicking the red circle in the middle. (Minimum 20 seconds to 5 minutes)
- You can check the battery and SD card capacity of the 360 camera through the icons and numbers in the lower right corner.

Save video on mobile phone
- When shooting is complete, the video stored on the SD card of the 360 camera is transferred to the mobile phone for storage.
- Be careful not to disconnect the connection between your mobile phone and 360 camera at this time.
- Once the save is complete, you can upload the stored video to the platform by changing the Wi-Fi connection to a general network.
- If you press the [Cancel] button, the platform upload will not be performed.
- You can try uploading to the platform again later by connecting to cellular data or a general network.

- After uploading, if you click the [Cancel] button, the video will continue to be stored on your mobile phone.

- If you do not upload immediately and click [Cancel], you can check and upload the video in the [Library] on the app.
- Click the thumbnail to the left of the shooting button to go to the [Library].
- Uploading in progress : Video that has not been uploaded to the platform after being stored on the mobile phone.
- Uploaded: The video has been uploaded to the platform but is still saved on the user's phone.
- After clicking the video thumbnail, additional actions are possible through the [Delete]/[Upload] icon in the upper right corner.

View and Upload 360 Images
You can check the 360 shooting data uploaded to the Meissa Scan.
If you have administrative authority, you can create a new building from Meissa Scan or PC. If you click on the building you created and enter, you can see the 360-camera video and walk-through.
- After clicking the [Add New] button, you can create a folder or upload a 360 video file. (mp4/No capacity limit)
- You can modify building information through the [Modify] button / Building List thumbnail - [More] button in the upper right corner of the viewer.
- ℹ️ The modified building information will be reflected in the Meissa Scan app as well.
Walkthrough / 360 video viewer
- If you click the play button on the screen, you can rotate the original video 360 degrees and play it.

- Click the [Walkthrough] button in the upper right corner to switch to the walkthrough screen.
Indoors - Walkthrough
- If you shoot and upload videos multiple times in the same building, you can check them in the list on the left in chronological order.
- You can click the arrow on the floor or click the <> button to move the viewer back and forth one by one.
ℹ️ User guide
- It takes time to convert uploaded images into a walk-through (road view) format (within approximately 20 minutes to 5 hours) and thumbnails and viewers may not be visible during conversion.

- If you upload the mouse to the uploaded video file name, the [Move to another folder] icon will be exposed. You can click the button to move the image to another folder.

- Click the [Manage Images] button to manage the entire uploaded folder and images. (You can download/delete)
Floor plan (mini-map)

- If you create a floor plan (mini-map), it can be used as a walk-through map to make it easier to compare drawings and sites.
ℹ️ Only one floor plan file can be uploaded to one building for convenience of use.
- The supported floor plan file types are png, jpg, pdf, and dxf. (Maximum file capacity: 50MB)

- If the floor plan file has been uploaded normally, the [Create Mini-Map] button appears at the bottom left of the walk-through.
Create a mini-map
- Feel free to drag the marker on the left screen and move it to a place where it is easy to place. (Recommend the top and bottom or both ends)
- Drag the marker on the right screen to adjust the size according to the path you moved when shooting.
- If you have finished adjusting, please click the [Finish] button on the top right.
ℹ️ If the route is reversed, use the [▷◀] left and right turn button on the left screen.
Create mini-map - complete
- When you have completed creating a mini-map, the mini-map area appears at the bottom of the walk-through.
✅ When moving through the walk-through, the center of the mini-map is also moved around my location. (You can also manually adjust the floor plan position via drag/drop.)
Mini Map - Extensions
- If you want to go far, you can move your location at once by clicking on the gray circle in the mini-map.
✅ You can expand the mini-map screen through the expand button in the mini-map.
- You can adjust the size of the floor plan through the zoom button in the mini-map.
Mini-Map - View/Off, Initialize, Download/Delete
- If you don't want to see it in the walk-through after setting up the mini-map, you can turn off the view toggle.
- Click the [Initialize] button if you want to specify a new mini-map location.
✅ You can download or delete it by clicking More View on the right side of the floor plan file.
- When deleting the floor plan file, all the generated mini-maps will also be deleted, so please be aware of using it.

- When you click on a location on the minimap, the two screens move together.

1. Why should I use Meissa Scan? What's good about using it?
- You can check the condition of the 360 camera and take images stably.
- Videos taken with 360 cameras can be uploaded and analyzed on the platform without additional equipment.
2. Where can I get the Meissa Scan app?
Currently, it only supports Android OS, and you can download it from the Google Play Store.
3. Does it only support Android OS? (Can't I use it if it's not a smartphone?)
Yes, the platform is currently only available on Android devices and does not support 2G phones.
4. Can I use it if I have an old smartphone?
The operating system version is important, regardless of when the smartphone was purchased. Meissa Scan supports devices with Android version 9.0 or higher. Please update your phone's OS to the latest version by going to the settings menu.

1. Can't I use it if I don't have a Missa platform account?
Yes, Meissa Scan is a service for Meissa platform users to upload 360 data easily, so you must have a platform account to use it. Please contact Meissa's official website for inquiries about using the Meissa platform.
2. Is it possible to sign up for membership directly from the app?
The on-site contract varies depending on the duration and area of the project, so you can negotiate with the sales team to calculate the price and then pay.
3. 360 camera connection is not working.
(As of August 3, 2023) Meissa Scan currently supports devices from Insta360 and RICOH manufacturers.

Yes, building information is synchronized with platform data and the same data is displayed.
5. Can I only register videos?
Yes. (As of May 26, 2023) Shooting and uploading through Meissa Scan only supports video. We plan to update it in the future to support image uploads.
6. Can I download the original video files uploaded by other people?
Yes, you can download the original video files by clicking the "More" button in the right menu after clicking the "Video Management" button on the web platform.
7. Do you only apply for Korean?
It supports Korean and English. We will update it to support various languages in the future.
