✅ With 3D modeling, you can see blind spots that you might not have seen in a 2D orthophoto. 3D point cloud data contains X, Y, and Z coordinate for each point, and you can adjust the size of the points to control the quality of the modelling results.
▎Enabling 3D points
① When you click on a3D point, the mark next to the 3D point name will light up, activating the 3D Point screen.
② You can adjust the horizontal slider or resize the dots with numerical input.
▎3D Position, Line segment, Height tools
① Remote control with 3D position, line segment, and height tools.
The icons are, from top to bottom, the Position tool, the Line tool, and the Height tool.
② Use the location tool to click on the desired location to see the coordinate values for that location.
③ Use the Line segment tool to measure the distance between two points by clicking on the desired point.
④ Use the Height tool to click on a step or slope to see the height and slope angle.
⚠️ The 3D Position, Line segment, and Height tools are all one-time use, and any tool information you create is lost when you move the page.
▎BIM comparison features
① Activating the Compare with BIM button opens the linked BIM list drawer.
② Activate the checkbox next to the desired file name and you will see the corresponding BIM file on the screen. The opacity of the BIM file can be adjusted, and you can display multiple BIM files at the same time.
③ BIM 파일은 플랫폼에서 위치 이동이 가능하며, 자세한 위치 조작 방법은 에서 확인할 수 있습니다. BIM files can be repositioned on the platform, and detailed repositioning instructions can be found in the BIM repositioning guide.
▎How to control the 3D screen
-
Zoom in and out of the screen: Mouse wheel up/down
Move the mouse wheel up to zoom in on the screen, and down to zoom out.
-
Rotate screen: left mouse click
Left-click and move up/down to translate the axis, and left/right to rotate the axis.
-
Pan the screen: Right-click
You can move the model vertically or horizontally by right-clicking and moving up/down or left/right.
💡 Can't I get a smoother, more natural 3D view?
Using the 3D Mesh feature in the left menu, you can convert 3D point data from each point into plane data for a more detailed and natural look at the scene.
